Objectives:

- Add new features required by today's business needs
- Get a more flexible system that can easily answer customer specific needs
Benefits to ING US:
The MAX application is a unique comprehensive group benefit administration system, giving ING complete business flexibility. The broad functional scope encompasses Product Setup, New Case Setup (Group Benefit Plans), Policy Management, and Billing/Payments.
Some examples:
- MAX will allow the rollout of new products to customers in record times
- MAX handles ING Employee Benefit specifics (such as a complex billing system–self administered / list billed / individually billed)
- MAX's architecture, built around reusable group benefit plan and individual policy components, is open to the administration of other products / services, allowing ING to cross sell among its divisions, and reuse the application internally
MAX brings a lot of new services to the end-user
- Real time access to the data
- Nice look and feel
- New business features:
- Definition of advanced rules at the product and group level
- Definition of many organizations to structure a group
- Billing, Payment reconciliation and Commission carries a much thinner level of detail
